I can remember flying into Kathmandu and seeing the Himalayas mountain range towering over the city in the foreground. Once I landed and got exploring, the city was filled with old temples, pagodas, prayer flags and friendly people.
This print focuses on the Shri Pashupatinath Temple found to the east of the city. An important religious site in Hinduism for devotees of Shiva. I really enjoyed the temples which varied in shapes, architecture and colours.

The dusty capital of Nepal was still very much rebuilding after the devastating earthquakes of 2015, I can remember walking around the lively streets and seeing Buddhist stupas down the side streets to open up into quiet courtyards and the prayer flags fluttering in the light winds.

It was a super early start to be the first to arrive to Petra and it was rewarded as there was no one else there. The famous Treasury is tucked away through rock corridors and the first glimspe of the rock carved facade is a true wonder.

It is sad to see the troubles Myanmar is currently going through, especially as it is such a beautiful country, filled with friendly locals. My fondest memory was watching sunset while sitting on top of one of 2200 Buddhist temples located in the 13th century city. 🌇
